Can an FNP get certification in Psych later and function as a PMHNP?

Of course. Do FNP first. Now I am too tired and stuck to go back and get FNP now. Unless you really like psych, you may burn out doing psych alone.

You should really like anything you do or you'll burn out quicker. I plan on doing psych till I die at my desk or they make me leave.
