What are some of the people skills you need as a RN? Any RNs you work with that lack people skills??? How are they like?

Being non-judgmental after another nurse or aid tells you that such and such a patient is annoying or unpleasant in some way.
I don't care what another person says about a patient. I walk into the room and get to know them myself. I've often found that a patient who another person tells me is annoying is simply needy and just needs a little more TLC. I find the time to spend just a few extra minutes with them.
I had spare time today and wasn't run off my feet. Instead of sitting behind the desk chatting with the other nurses I chose to help the aids by feeding one resident and showering another. It was great to have the time to do that.
