I think Williston, ND has been many people's "saving grace". There really are many opportunities for work here. I come from a big city so I find all the greenery nice, even though it all will all be covered with snow soon!
The hospital is building apartments as well. They should be opening in early October if you can get there. They're supposed to be fairly priced.
