Hello Nurse Vicky. Funny you should mention The North Carolina Museum of Art. I missed the Rembrandt collection (my sister attended, said it was fabulous) but was able to make the Monet exhibit a few years ago. My family is in the area; I travel from Pensacola to visit.

On a different note, I would like to ask your advice. I'm soon to graduate (May, 2012) with my ADN from Pensacola State College. I am starting my preceptorship with Covenant Hospice, home health and also the Care Center at West Florida Hospital. After that, I strongly desire to move back to my home state (NC). My question is, are there opportunities for out-of-state students? And if so, in which cities?

Congratulations on being in your last semester of nursing school, Honeybee737 :)!

I have heard (but cannot guarantee) that PCMH (in Greenville) is hiring new graduates for some select units. If you are planning to stay in Florida and work at least one year in a hospital setting, it should be easier for you to find a job in NC.

As to other hospitals, home health agencies, correctional institutions, etc., in NC that are hiring, check out some of the threads in this forum.
