LPN to RN transitions students FTCC

:typingHi there are there any LPNs who will be transitioning to the ADN program at FTCC? How many of you took the mobility exam and have received your scores? Will anyone be starting this summer with the transition part. I am hoping for some news soon. This waiting game is hard to say the very least. Please someone reply.

Mobility test? What is that? I was in the LPN-RN program at FTCC. Finished the transition class, NUR 189 in Fall 08. I was in the NUR 210 class, but had to drop unfortunately.

My classmates and I had to take and pass the TEAS test to get in the program, but I've never heard of mobility test. I have put in my application to be readmitted back in the program in Fall 09... haven't heard from them yet.

It is a 3 part test that consists of Nursing Fundamentals, Peds and OB. I believe it was through the NLN. If you pass all portions you can take the NUR189 in the summer and then merge in with the 2nd yr students. I was wondering if anyone knows how it works out at the end. Are people comfortable taking the NCLEX-RN....:specs::specs:

KKonrad, any word, are you starting this fall '09. let me know.......and where is it that you work? are you going to ftcc?
