Most employers pay up to 90% of the mid-point in the salary range. So, if an LPN makes $16.50-19.50 per hour in Western North Carolina, it is a safe bet that you could expect (depending on experience) a wage of at least $17.50 per hour. I have several freinds that are LPN's and work in Asheville .... they are making almost $20.00 per hour in the long term care field.I'm doing some research on NC nursing.
