Specializes in Chiropractic assistant, CNA in LTC, RN.

WSSU offers a traditional BSN program as well as a 13 month accelerated option for those who hold a BS in another discipine. Forsyth Tech offers ADN programs and there are several other community colleges in the area that offer ADN programs as well.

WSSU's BSN program is supposed to be excellent. I've heard they are a bit unorganized, but what nursing school isn't anymore? I haven't heard anything negative about them.

I graduated from Surry Community College in May and it's about 40 minutes NW of W-S.

thanks paacollins!!! this is my dilemma I already completed my pre-req and taking other classes to complete my bachelor's, I was supposed to start my nursing program this year but for financial problems not only had to cancel that, but i have to move to another state where I can afford take classes and take care of my children. due I have most of my pre-rek done and only nursing to go, I decided to go for the BS at the same time... do you think is a good move or is it better to finish a community college instead???? :uhoh3:
