Hello. First of I absolutely love this website so helpful learned so many things. However I would like to ask a few questions. Being the first to go to college this is new for my family but most of all myself. So if anyone would be so kind and answer these questions.

I am graduating high school this May, and would like to know do you go straight to nursing school or what?

I would like to get a CNA and was wondering do have to take prerequisites to get in or do just apply?

What is the best CNA program in Charlotte?

When do I take the TEAS? After high school? When?

THANKS SO MUCH!!:)

Okay so 98 people have viewed this yet no one has answered! Please somebody answe the slightest of an answer would be sooo helpful.

Many Thanks :D

What type of nurse do you want to be? LPN, ADN, BSN? Where do you want to go to college- university or community college? Find out what you want to do, where you can achieve it, then contact an advisor to help you out... every school is different!

My school requires CNA before getting into nursing, so its great you want to take that anyways! I would start with community colleges...check out the ones in your area and see which ones offer CNA courses and they will probably also offer nursing. You do not need any college classes to take the CNA, I do not think it even requires a diploma (doesn't here). If you can find a school close by with these programs offered then start there and get in contact with them. They will set you up with an advisor who can get you on track!

Dont forget to apply for financial aid! FAFSA.ed.gov if you live with your parents you will neeed there income and info for the app but if you qualify you will get enough money to cover all your classes. They have deadlines so check it out! Good luck!
