Which community college do you think would be best to enter for nursing school. I'm currently at GTCC for prereq classes and I'm applying to nursing school now. If I do happen to get into more than one, which one is best in your opinion?

Hello, Anyone apply for LPN to RN program GTCC?

What point range do they usually accept, I know they are different in ranking then Forsyth and Davidson, I have 47 at GTCC, unless I retake AP I and II, GTCC does not have points for AP if you have C. Was thinking that Foryth I would have a better chance to get in next year I would have 168, so any thoughts? Applying next year.

Now my GF applied this year LPN to RN GTCC had 71 points, still waiting to hear.

I applied as well., was an alternate at GTCC last year scoring 82 .. But never got called!! Good luck to us all

My Girlfriend got acceptance letter today for LPN to RN. Goodluck to all.

Are you saying you had 82 points or you scored an 82 on the TEAS? I know people who got into the program with points below 55. To be an alternate with 82 points doesn't seem possible.

For Davidson I put the wrong initials dccc

Gotcha. Thanks for clarifying.

I just wanted to add some info that FutureRNMel mentioned. If you care about this, DCCC is the only school accredited by the ACEN out of DCCC, Forsyth Tech, and GTCC. If you want to possibly work for the federal government (like fed prisons, the V.A., etc,) that may be an important thing to know, since that's mentioned in all of their nursing jobs listings. While all three are NCBON approved progragms, only DCCC is ACEN accredited. Personally, I graduated from DCCC more than 20 years ago, so I don't have any current relevant info to add except this. Good luck to you all!
