cg6303... I pm'd you.

cg6303 I was investigating the Wilmington area while I toyed with the idea of moving there (last year I began the process of applying for endorsement, all I had left to do was send off the fingerprints) but have postponed the move indefinately. My sources pointed me to a Mariner facility there. I hope everything's going well for you Wilmingtonites ;)

Wilmington has one hospital but two facilities. There is no competition. If there are no openings in the specialty you do, your recourse is to work out of town (which I have to do). Also, if you get a position and you desire to change specialties, you cannot transfer to a position because you don't have the experience to work in the specialty unit.

Hi, I work in Elizabeth City. (Its a small town near the coast.) And I work in the MedSurg department. We're primarily surgical, with 32 beds. I work "baylor" nights and also fill in occasionally during the week. Ive been here for 4 years. I love this!
