Hey everyone, congrats on all of you being accepted =) I was wondering if any of you would be willing to post what your stats (gpa, science grades...) were that got you into the school. Im planning on applying for spring 2011 and want to see what kind of chance I'll have. Also, did any of you do phone interviews? I live in California, so phone interview would be preferable, but if it makes the difference getting in, then guess I'll gly out there =) Thanks for nay help and again, congrats!

OK I just noticed your post so I will reply even though I chose to attend a different school. I was accepted to Duke, though. I live in Oregon and did a phone interview and I didn't feel any pressure from anyone to go to NC. Lots of people did fly out, though and had a great time. I think it's worth it because if you really want to go there, you should see it in person and meet some of the people. If i could do it over, I would have gone to Duke days.

I have a BA in Spanish cum laude from James Madiosn Univ. and an MA in Education from Virginia Tech. Took my prereq's at Portland State and have about a 3.95 gpa. I had not finished all my pre-req's before applying but that might have changed for next year. I am a returned Peace corps volunteer and volunteered a lot in the community but not much in a hospital. Great varied references and well thought-out reason for becoming a nurse.

Good luck applying. The admissions lady you work with at Duke is A-MAZ-ING! I feel like that is one of the reasons a lot of people end up choosing to go there!
