So I applied to the accelerated masters program and looking for others who applied too. I can't find anyone. If you applied and waiting to hear back please reply. I also want to reach out to those already in the program to learn more about the curriculum.

Hello! I also applied for the accelerated masters program! Did you have one interview or two? I only had one but I thought there was supposed to be 2. Also, do you mind me asking what your GPA was? Glad we can wait together!

I only had one interview. My bachelors is in Respiratory Therapy with 4.0 GPA. Seems they are not accepting a lot of people for the masters program. Did you apply anywhere else?

Nice! I hope we get in! I applied at the university of Maryland and USF. Both of their programs are for Clinical Nurse Leader, so UR is my first choice since becoming an NP is my end goal. I'll be coming from California! What about yourself?

I applied to Emory for FNP track also. They said I will hear from them next week. I just submitted an app to Columbia, but theirs is MSN + DNP. I know it is a long short but fingers crossed.

And I live in Dallas.

I'm currently working on the U of Rochester application but I'm feeling discouraged because I saw on another thread that someone said you have to have a 3.5 or higher, even though the website says "3.0 preferred." What do you guys think? Should I go ahead and apply?

Its very true. I graduated from a UC school in california with a 3.4 and I didn't get into the program. They are very strict, and if you don't have hands-on experience (CNA, EMT) in the field I wouldn't bother. I hear its better to apply to Masters programs that aren't necessarily entry level NP program. Like clinical nurse leader for example. For sure save your application fee. On top of that, this school is 87,000 a YEAR and its 3 years long.
