Has anyone received their acceptance letter for Spring 2013? I heard letters started going out last week...

Lol that's ok. I am still excited that I am now logged into that website. Atleast I can see all my information and my start date.[/quote']

Well good luck with everything I know the anxiety of the lack of info we have is getting to everyone lol it will be over soon

Did anyone find out if we need to get stethoscopes?......

I haven't been told anything about stethescopes, but I am sure any questions you have will be answered at the orientation.

Cristini.......what was the critical thinking test on? Omg now I'm even more nervous

the test had 30 questions on it. it gave you a scenario then asked what the first step you would take to deal w the situation would be. it's multiple choice and there's no correct answer. they said you'll see your results when classes begin and the answers will be explained to u.

as far as the stethoscopes, they only mentioned that you have to purchase a lab skills kit (which is $100.00) and they didnt explain what it includes.

does anyone know when we're supposed to purchase our uniforms?

they have the uniforms in the school bookstore that's where we purchase them from i asked the advisor and that's what i was told and the cost is $32.50/pair

and thank you crisstini for the info

I wonder when we're supposed to purchase them? they weren't available at orientation a few weeks ago

I'm going to purchase them the day I go in for orientation because we should have them for when classes start

I'm going there for the Cpr course today...hopefully I'll be able to buy them

Schedules are up for Staten Island! Log onto mycampuslink.com and it should be up. I am taking night classes. Here is my schedule

Monday nur 101 L from 4-8:00

Tuesday nur 101 from 4-7 and psychology from 7-9:15

Thursday Nur 100 4-7 and Nur 102 from 7-9:15

Megg-you're so lucky. I am only required to take the nursing classes and I have no idea why I am getting stuck with a 4 day schedule. I am assuming they will stick the clinical on the 5th day I have no classes. I am doing evenings in Queens.

LM NY I know I was shocked when I seen my schedule. The best part is that when I have two classes a day they are only 15 min apart.. I got lucky.. I am just waiting for them to realize they made a mistake and change it! Haha good luck this semester! We are all going to do great! =)

I see why, is it because you aren't taking the math for meds nur103 class? Did you take the exam to be exempt? If so, how much was the fee and how long was the exam? I am still trying to fight them on it, because the day I was called that I was accepted I was told the next day was the last day to take that exam to be exempt which isn't fair.
