NYP, NYU, MSKCC for new grad?

U.S.A. New York

Published

Hi All,

I was wondering if any current RN's or students who did clinicals at various NYC hospitals could help me.

I'm relocated back to NYC and am trying to decide between working at either NYP - Cornell, NYU, or Sloan Kettering. All the jobs are for nights and are different units. I just can't decide and am trying to coordinate passing the nclex, choosing a job, AND finding housing!

Any advice from those who have been in these hospitals would be greatly appreciated. Just from my immediate impressions, I thought NYP seemed like the "nicest" appearing. NYU's nurse manager was awesome though. My dad is getting treated at Sloan and I've talked to some nurses there and have all said it's a good place to work.

So confused

Thx,

Definitely NYP - Cornell or NYU. Both hospitals have great benefits and offer a variety of experience.
