Is there a different process for out of state applicants? What about applicants from out of the country?

A:

Out of state and out of the country applicants are still required to submit their fingerprints electronically. There are national Livescan service providers, such as L1 Identity Solutions, Fieldprint, National Fingerprint, Inc., and Ideal Identification, Inc. which can assist out-of-state applicants. You can obtain a hard fingerprint card from the FBIs website at http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/background-checks/standard-fingerprint-form-fd-258 or by contacting your board office. Starting January 1, 2013, the Florida Department of Health retains fingerprints on any applicant who is required to undergo a criminal history screening in the Care Provider Clearinghouse. This Clearinghouse allows for the sharing of criminal history information among specified agencies. One of the requirements for the Clearinghouse is a photograph taken at time of fingerprinting, therefore, if your fingerprints are submitted without a photograph, you may have to undergo additional fingerprinting in the future when applying at a different agency.

Let me know if you have any questions! hope this helps...

Hi, guys. I used Fieldprint (Fieldprint Fingerprinting, Serving Florida - Home). They have livescan equipment all over the country that services FL.

[h=2]Not in Florida?[/h]If you are not in the state of Florida, you may still access one of Fieldprint's many Livescan sites. With locations in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, simply click “Schedule an Appointment” to find a location near you!

I didn't need hard cards. Everything was electronic, in addition the picture. I'm just waiting for everything to get processed now. I submitted my application towards the end of March.

I cannot get the Fieldprint website to accept the endorsement code (EDOH4420Z) when I try to schedule an appointment... Has this happened to anyone else?
