LIJ Update Question

U.S.A. New York

Published

Hey guys I just wanted to clear something up really quick. If I had two interviews for a job with nslij over three weeks ago for a position that starts in January, is it safe to assume I didn't get the job or no? I called talent acquisition last Friday and they said that they were finalizing things and that by Monday (this past Monday) they would hopefully have an answer. I would just really appreciate a call even if I didn't get the job than just sitting around holding on to hope that they will call. Trying to find a job is so hard as a new grad man!

Hey tousssint. I would like to know what do they ask in the interviews because I have one soon and I want to be prepared.

Is it your first or second interview? They asked me different question for each one.

Phone interview

They ask the same questions that they would in person as they would over the phone, usually depends on the recruiter. I've had a recruiter ask me to do a head to toe assessment and I've been asked how I would handle conflict(nurse vs. patient, nurse vs. nurse). And then there's the regular questions like what have you been doing since graduation if you're a new grad and things of that nature. It helps to Google practice nursing behavioral interview questions and that should help. All I can say is be yourself and of course sell yourself as well.
