Good NYC hospitals

U.S.A. New York

I know that there is a thread about the best hospitals in NYC for a new grad, but no one mentioned Mount Sinai, Bellvue, or Beth Isreal. Which one's-out of all the big hospitals-are considered to be good places in NYC (taking into account salary, loan repayment, working conditions, menotoring/teaching, and tuition reimbursment).

Please pm me about BI.

I have been wondering the same thing.

I am moving to New York in the Spring and have been trying to compare the hospitals on line.....which is very difficult to do.

Can anybody recommend any good hospitals in the New York City that have pediatric wards?

I, too, would appreciate any advice on NYC hospitals(including Staten Island). I plan on moving to NYC in June or July(after graduation) and I have tried the internet with no real success! Thanks for your help!Oh, I have 4 small kids so I plan on living on Staten Island!:D

I checked out Bellvue's web site and I liked their benefits...

Bellevue is part of the city's public hospitals - the Health and Hospitals Services (HHS). The union for RNs working in that system is the New York State Nurses Assoc. There is one contract for all the hospitals in that system - representing over 7,000 RNs. The benefits at Bellevue where won by NYSNA RNs and cover not only Bellevue but all the citys public facilites in HHS.

More info can be found at http://www.NYSNA.org under a search for HHS.
