Just got my email today regarding an interview in early March. I also hope they're not leaving the worst for last! Good luck to everyone.

Does anyone know how heavily the writing sample is weighted as it relates to acceptance?

@TK2U : Did you do the writing sample? If so, how was it?

@seong69 yes I did. It wasn't hard just reading comprehension, but I wasnt feeling well and I had a mental block. I had a great interview tho, so I'm hoping that plus my personal statement will be enough.

@seong69 do know when they will send out letters? I was told by the end of the month and some else said within a month.

@TK2U - I was told that the letter would be sent within a month at that time when I did interview and writing sample. However, I read from last year thread that it did not take too long. Someone told you that by the end of this month?

Yes the professor I interviewed with said by the end of the month. But ***** the assistant to the dean said within a month. I can't wait. I really wanna get accepted. I live in FL and I'm excited about moving to NY. I'm praying for good news

Did you fly from FL to NY for the interview or was it a phone interview?

I travel between Fl and NY all time, so I happened to be in town at the time of my interview so I did an in person.

I'm in Concordia now and I think our class had 60 people in the beginning.

    Dear RachPapp,

Thank you kindly for sharing your Concordia nursing experience with us.

I received my acceptance letter yesterday. I am so excited!

Do you live on/near the campus? I am not from the area and am trying to decide if I should live in one of the on-campus houses for second degree students, or try to find an apartment off campus. Do you have any suggestions?

Also, do many of the students in your cohort meet up to study/hang out? I like that Concordia has a smaller program compared to other schools.

If you could share one of your favorite moments from nursing school, or at the clinical sites, what would it be? I would love to hear about it

Thank you again for your posts on this site. They have been inspiring and very insightful.
