Does anyone know when Binghamton will send out acceptances for the fall 2014 BAT program?

I was accepted on Jan 11 via email. Good luck everyone, Hopefully you all hear good news soon!

Hi ZellRN, who knows if you'll ever get to read this...but just read your post...and had to say that I requested oncology back in October. We got our placements and I was put on a telemetry floor. I asked about my request and was told that oncology at Wilson is reserved for BOCES students. Enough said. I regret this program more than anything I've ever done in life!

Nybsn14,

I'm sorry your exp has been so negative. I have read every single one of your 7 posts and not a single positive thing was said in regards to this program. Have you had any positive exp in this program? How are the professors? What was your favorite clinical?

In 4 months you will be a RN, at least that is something to be grateful for. Many would give their right hand including myself to be in your position.

I really haven't had a favorite clinical. I'm sorry I've come across as so negative. My personal expectations just were not met here.

I'm about to graduate this weekend from the BAT. So ask me any questions!

That's awesome! I am actually starting the program the 27th :) Have you liked it overall? Any tips would be great!

Would you mind saying your GPA stats?

Are you applying for this application cycle? I'm a current student. I had a 3.9 in my prereqs and a 3.5 in undergrad. I would guess that most of my class had high GPAs, but I know at least one person who got a mix of B's and A's in the prereqs and was accepted. But overall, people in my program are pretty high-achieving and driven.
