Average New York Nurse salary?

U.S.A. New York

Greeting my New Yorkers!

I was wondering what the average salary for an entry level nurse or a nurse with a year-3 years experience. I know this was asked before but when I was searching the question was asked years ago and I know salaries do indeed go up. I also checked glassdoor and it says that a nurse at NY Langone Medical center , Mounti sinai and NYP makes about 70K-92K so I wanted to know how realistic that was. Thank you so much !

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the estimates on Glassdoor are low.

I interviewed 6 weeks ago at several of the big name Manhattan hospitals. Their compensation packages were all structured a little differently but the pay ended up being pretty much the same across the board. I was shown a base rate of $84k (for new grads). With 2+ years experience, a BSN, and certification, I was told to expect $89k for day shift or $95k for nights.

I'm a recent BSN grad and my starting salary will be ~$80k for days, ~$85k for nights with no experience

Do Long Island hospitals pay less because I believe the starting salary as a new grad is ~65k on Long Island.
