ADN to BSN Recommendations

U.S.A. New York

Published

I may potentially move to Brooklyn after I finish my ADN program, I was hoping for any recommendations for Colleges that offer the ADN to BSN route. Are there any that are part-time/online? Might as well get in my research now while I have a break in between semesters! Thanks in advance!

Check out SUNY Delhi. I started there a month ago. I really, really like it. It's an online program and the tuition is so low! Also, IMHO, stay away from Jacksonville University's online program...the tuition is astronomical and there were other issues with tuition, loans, and other schools they send you to. It's too long to go into.

Anyway...good luck in your studies!

Thanks so much for replying! I have looked into SUNY Delhi, but was wondering do you know if their BSN program is NLNAC or CCNE accredited? I see they are listed under the NLNAC website, but it's under the Associate's heading. I just worry about technicalities like that!

The RN-to-BSN program is not accredited yet but they are supposed to be within the year. I'm not sure how much it matters since we're already RN's but it may make a difference when we pursue an MSN or higher but again, I'm still not sure. Hopefully they'll get accredited soon and it won't be an issue.
