ANYBODY KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT THIS SCHOOL?? OR DONE RESEARCH ON IT ?? OR ANY INFO ON THE ISLAND OF ST.KITTS..

THANKS & GOD BLESS

I have no clue on total cost but I do know I am somewhat getting discouraged from readin all of this. I really do want to attend though

Also did you all hear that if you apply thru Lousisana college you can use fafsa not just loans?????

I'm considering the LA College option. The only thing is that I already have a Bachelor Degree and therefore will not qualify for any grants, etc (only scholarships if I can get any). Where are you all in the process? Have you been admitted for fall, interview, testing, loans, etc?

Hi everyone! I realize that this is an older post, but it's the only post I could find on the saint kitt's nursing program. So has anyone gotten in/studying there right now?? I am interested, but also have a few questions and concerns. I would love to hear from someone who has studied there or is there now....how you like the program and the island itself.

No matter where you get your credits, the only thing that the various State Boards look at is where you graduated from. Nursing is one of those sets of degrees where each school is protective of their own method. Now the school in St. Kitts might take a lot of transfer credits from other schools, but they might take them as "elective credit" rather than 1:1 replacement of core classes. The same might also be true of CSU. If you plan to graduate from a US school, make sure you find out exactly what they accept transfer-wise from other schools. On the other hand, if you're taking the NCLEX in NM, our laws specifically grant access to NCLEX testing from graduates of recognized international programs. You will have to prove that your education was in English, though and that the program accreditation is appropriate. Other states may or may not honor your NM license, however, if your education was not handled in the US. I don't know the law in any other state yet, because I've not tried transferring my license yet.

Hey is anyone currently in the IUON program? Has anyone graduated from the program and found a decent job/job hunting experience? Were you looked at any differently due to a degree from IUON? I would love to hear any feedback that can be offered! Thank you!
