Trinitas school of nursing dilemma

Hey there everyone. So I am writing because I only have micro bio to take until I am done with all pre reqs to get into the trinitas program. But there is a lot holding me back to apply to this school. Many of the people I know at work or from school have tried trinitas or somehow completed it and reccomend going to a diff nursing school. The problem is definetely cost and location, because it is perfect in that aspect for me. I have been hearing negative feedback about the trinitas program and really don't knoww where to begin. I was considering muhlenberg in plainfield, nj but I haven't heard too much about it to decide if I really want to go there. Basically I want the good, the bad and the ugly on what to do in this situation and any recommendations on where I should go. I think students should be excited to go to nursing school, not feel discouraged and like they are throwing their money away to get treated like garbage, help!!

I am currently in the Trinitas program. I'm doing my first clinical, and the semester is almost done. I like Trinitas so far. The school is very organized, and the faculty is very helpful. I do admit the program is a lot of work.....it requires good organizational skills and time management. The passing grade in Trinitas is a 75% which makes the program a little more challenging then Muhlenberg. I would go with Trinitas if I were you....just work hard.

I just sent in my application for trinitas how long did it take you to get into the program, was it a long wait.

About a month (from submission of the application to the e-mail acceptance letter).

Hi! Trinitas was originally my choice also. When I found out that it would take about 3 1/2 years for me to complete it (including my prereqs), I decided to transfer and get a BSN instead. There are a lot of negative comments made about Trinitas, but I have heard just as much negative about Muhlenberg.
There are things to consider about Trinitas. Its supposedly very easy to fail out, and for me the deciding factor as to why I chose not to stick with my original plan and go there: 4 of your nursing classes (NURE 131, 132, 231, & 232) are offered only in fall and spring semesters, which makes the program longer than I felt was necessary or convenient. This may work in your favor if you plan to work during nursing school though.
I know people who have successfully completed both programs, they both said neither were really that spectacular.
