Rutgers Newark Nursing Program Acceptance and Classes

Good evening all,

So I was initially a biology major at Rutgers Newark looking to go into optometry, but due to time constraints am heavily considering transferring into the nursing school. I have all of the course requirements and have spoken to admissions numerous times. I don't really have a fear of not getting accepted but you never know. I will be withdrawing from Organic Chemistry this semester so my GPA should be around 3.5-3.8. And with the pre-req electives I will take next semester it should be more around the 3.8. What else is considered for acceptance? Also, how difficult is biochemistry? I ace all biology courses but chemistry just doesn't mix well with me. And does the school require that I maintain a certain GPA?
