Hey there everyone. I am in California, but i was raised in NJ and am considering a move back to NJ. What has happened to Mountainside Hospital in Montclair? The website is down and there is no news to speak of relating to it. Did the hospital close or become a SNF?

SNF? Mountainside is still there. The latest news with them is they are no longer part of Atlantic Healthcare System.

This year, have heard several times from different people that they are supposed to close. Then again, also heard that last year they were becoming part the Saint Barnabas Health Care system. So many rumors in NJ, why not call and ask?

Mountainside is still there as the quintessential community hospital. They were bought from Atlantic Health by Merit Health Systems. The new website is http://www.mountainsidenow.com/.
