I think ADM 110 not really true. I took it over summer 1 2011 and yet didn't get invited. You took only chem and psy and got the invitation. I was in Middlesex since 2007 and got waitlisted then went to FDU for fall 2010 only but tuition very expensive so I went to UCC last spring 2011 . I was waiting for the invitaion for fall 2011 but didn't get the invitation. I understand that I'm a transfer student and need to earned credits at UCC so last spring, I registered for Math 127 stat and Italian 1 = 7 credits.Plus summer 1 ADM 110 =2 credits .Total earned at UCC=9 credit so far and they accepted 31 credits so far I have total of 40 credits at UCC with 3.1 GPA. Why I didn't get invited? However, I'm not losing hope and I'll wait for spring 2012. I registered for Chem 113 requirements for BSN and I'll add History & Spanish since I didn't get the invitation. I'm so sad

As of Aug. 25, 2011 Officially registered for Nursing 130 for Fall 2011. I went to school and asked why I have not received the invitation. They viewed my transcript and registered me. I'm so happy that I'm finally in. All prerequisites are done! They accepted 31 credits plus 9 earned at UCC total of 40 credits earned.Just need to do more buy back so I registered for Child Psy so I'll be doing Child Psy and Nursing 130 for Fall 2011. I was going to take Chem 113 for BSN but decided not to combine NUrsing 130 with lab sciences too much work.

congratulations What section will you be in for Nure 130 i am in the saturday class. With the hopes of not sounding stupid what are buy back credits. Sometimes I feel very loss because I have to find out most of my information on my own by speaking with students, counselors, and anyone else I can find! They accepted 6 credits from my previous school. I really dont know why they didnt accept my humanities credits that would have been a relief because i really dont want to redo it. Well I wish you a successful semester maybe we will see one another

Thank you! Yeah I jumped when I got the emailed to register .I'm in Monday class 6-10pm. Buy Back meaning in order to graduate at UCC u need to satisfy Ucc credits. Just to show u earned credits from them. They make sense because u cannot say u graduated with Associated Degree in Science at UCC without taking courses with them. That's why they aren't able to accommodate all transfer credits we have. All nursing courses are from Trinitas so we have Diploma in Nursing through trinitas. They accepted 31 credits and need to do 9 buy back. I think I earned enough so need to double check it.So far I have 9 credits earned at UCC. When they evaluated your transcript,it says there how many buy back u need.Double check it too because you don't need to redo them. You can just take any courses .Double check with them.

I think it's better talking to Enrollment specialist rather than counselor.

Hey guys I have a quick question. I applied for the spring 2012 and just for the heck of it checked on webadvisor and all of Trinitas' classes were filled. How is that possible if the nursing 130 form for consideration starts today? I am so confused. I then looked at Muhlenberg and they have open classes. I know people are starting to register for spring but where would that put all the nursing applicants that have finished all their pre-reqs?

did you get an invitation letter? the process is 1. a consideration letter to which you respond, expressing your interest 2. an invitation letter on which there will be a specific date to register. i don't think the spring registration happened yet. consideration letters in october, invitation letters in early mid december, registration is early jan, if i remember right. you will register pretty close to or a little after payment for the course is due. trinitas gets it's own payment due dates to accomodate it's late registration cycle. remember, people have to pass each course in sequence before they are allowed to register for the next course, since every course is a prereq for the next course. this delays all registrations, including 130.
trinitas is its own beast and the hand off from ucc to trinitas isn't well communicated until you actually get a letter. the consideration and invitation letters tell you exactly what you have to do, but you will be completely in the dark until then. this is part of why i started this thread, to clear up confusion.

    Vinster,
I get what you are saying but now there's a letter for consideration that we must fill out and they are being accepted from today - 11/30th. I just don't understand how these classes are filled already if we are applying to start in January.?>?>! I apologize if I am not understanding correctly. I appreciate your clarification and postings.

don't worry about the classes being filled in the computer system. i doubt the classes have even been opened in the computer system. no one can register except in person, by invitation and with the invitation letter in hand. sounds like you're on the right track. this letter says "you are being considered... blah blah.", right? do what the letter says. send it in asap. hopefully you will get the invitation letter. again, 1. consideration letter in oct, 2. invitation letter in dec, 3. registration in jan. just make sure you do exactly everything the letters tell you to. you'll be fine. what's your points score? do you know?

Thank you, you're so helpful! I am a transfer student and have all my pre-reqs done. I took classes this semester to establish a GPA to apply to their program. I already handed in my consideration form and unofficial transcript. Now I guess I wait to hear back from them???? Now suspense begins. Although, Trinitas is not the only school I applied to. I applied to Bergen and Christ. I was accepted to Mountainside but was put on a waiting list for next summer. My goal is to get into a program this spring. Time is just being wasted away.
