Hi Judi , I graduated from an Rn program last month Jan. 08 ( Associate Degree) . My school did Kaplan review and I have been doing 75 qbanks each day and reviewing rationale for remediation. Any tips on how to prepare for nclex ? I am still waiting for my ATT plan to take it maybe first week of March once I get my ATT#

I think it's better talking to Enrollment specialist rather than counselor.

Thank you! Yeah I jumped when I got the emailed to register .I'm in Monday class 6-10pm. Buy Back meaning in order to graduate at UCC u need to satisfy Ucc credits. Just to show u earned credits from them. They make sense because u cannot say u graduated with Associated Degree in Science at UCC without taking courses with them.That's why they aren't able to accommodate all transfer credits we have. All nursing courses are from Trinitas so we have Diploma in Nursing through trinitas.They accepted 31 credits and need to do 9 buy back. I think I earned enough so need to double check it.So far I have 9 credits earned at UCC. When they evaluated your transcript,it says there how many buy back u need.Double check it too because you don't need to redo them.You can just take any courses .Double check with them.

As of Aug. 25, 2011 Officially registered for Nursing 130 for Fall 2011. I went to school and asked why I have not received the invitation.They viewed my transcript and registered me. I'm so happy that I'm finally in:yeah:. All prerequisites are done! They accepted 31 credits plus 9 earned at UCC total of 40 credits earned.Just need to do more buy back so I registered for Child Psy so I'll be doing Child Psy and Nursing 130 for Fall 2011. I was going to take Chem 113 for BSN but decided not to combine NUrsing 130 with lab sciences too much work.:yeah:

Do the best you can taking A & P 2 and nursing 130 at the same time, it's a lot of work but work hard and always remember this is your chance ! Your finally in !:yeah:and Getting into nursing school is really competitive and might not get your chance again.

I think ADM 110 not really true. I took it over summer 1 2011 and yet didn't get invited. You took only chem and psy and got the invitation. I was in Middlesex since 2007 and got waitlisted then went to FDU for fall 2010 only but tuition very expensive so I went to UCC last spring 2011 . I was waiting for the invitaion for fall 2011 but didn't get the invitation. I understand that I'm a transfer student and need to earned credits at UCC so last spring, I registered for Math 127 stat and Italian 1 = 7 credits.Plus summer 1 ADM 110 =2 credits .Total earned at UCC=9 credit so far and they accepted 31 credits so far I have total of 40 credits at UCC with 3.1 GPA. Why I didn't get invited? However, I'm not losing hope and I'll wait for spring 2012. I registered for Chem 113 requirements for BSN and I'll add History & Spanish since I didn't get the invitation. I'm so sad:crying2:

You must be a Union County Resident. Even though you took only 2 courses (CHEM & PSY) in the Spring 2011 , they already invited you for Nursing 130. Congratulations:yeah:! Hope I'll get mine too , I've been in school for a long time. I've earned total of 40 credits already. 31 credits transferred and 9 credits earned at UCC. I don't have a degree yet so ABSN not an option for me;(

You can't take Nursing 130 and 131 at the same time.

Anybody received the invitation for Nursing 130 for fall 2011? Kindly response.....

I'm a transfer student and applied in UCC /Trinitas in the spring 2011. They accepted 31 credits but have to do 9 buy back credits. January 2011 - I took STATISTIC MATH 127 & ITALIAN . Summer 2011- ADM 110. Now , am waiting for the consideration letter. I currently registered for fall 2011 - CHEM 113 while waiting and PSY. I basically finished all the prerequisites. Currrently earned 3.1 GPA. at UCC now. Let's see how long it will take.

Thanks for the informative information. I just registered today ( chem113/Math127stats=8 credits)I basically completed everything AP1/AP2,Micro,CHem for Health,tro Psy/Lifespan,Sociology,computer.I figured to take chem113/Math127 to get my GPA counted because I took all the prereq. from Middlesex County College. Anyone have the same situation and got invited to Nursing 130? I'm quoted as "EGHN".
