Frustrated with the BON - Page 2
Register Today!- Jul 8, '11 by Ashley, PICU RNDoes anybody know how long it takes to get a license number once you pass the NCLEX?
I called the BON for the second time today (It's been two weeks since I took my exam and over ten weeks since I submitted my application) and they said it takes 10-15 days for NJ BON to receive the NCLEX results and another 10-15 days for a license number to be issued.
Does this make sense at all? Why would it take they 10-15 days to receive the results when other states post names on their BON sites within a couple of days?
How long did it take you to get a number once you passed the NCLEX? I thought my waiting was over... - Jul 9, '11 by RN_EvQuote from pinoysnYes you can pay to register with Pearson without having the fingerprints first.I actually graduated here in the States so I don't need to go through all that TOEFL and CES stuff.
- Jul 9, '11 by RN_EvQuote from Ashley, PICU RNYea I heard NJ takes awhile. I recently graduated from a school in NJ but I applied for licensure in VA and so my license was up within 24 hrs after I took my NCLEX. I am now looking to also apply for license in NJ but everybody makes it seem like its going to take forever. But if you want your NCLEX results I believe NJ offers the 48 hour quick result with Pearson. You do have to pay $8. Hope this helps!Does anybody know how long it takes to get a license number once you pass the NCLEX?
