BCC/MCC Fall 2015 Nursing

U.S.A. New Jersey

Published

Hey everyone!

I have recently been accepted into the nursing program at BCC for September and I am thrilled after such a long process!! Due to the limited amount of seats nursing programs have to offer I also applied to Middlesex County College and got accepted as well.

My dilemma is deciding which school to attend?? I am truly lost and I need to decide as soon as possible.

I would appreciate any comments and advice anybody has to offer. Thank you in advance!!

What's the cost for being an out-of-county resident? Will that occur?

The tuition difference is about 500-1000 (middlesex being a bit cheaper)

I've heard great things about both schools, tuition cost would have been my deciding factor but the difference is small:cry:

Just be careful about taking on extra debt - it'll be multiple courses. Then you have the course work, NCLEX, first job (for an ADN, difficult) and then you'll have your debt to pay off.

Will travelling to distant clinical sites concern you as well as the everyday commute to a distant school? NJ still gets snow and nursing school doesn't care about your commute - you just got to be there.

Good luck.

I went to MCC a few years ago and thought it was a great program. I would definitely recommend it and the great professors.
