NHCTC-Manchester / questions on NLN test

U.S.A. New Hampshire

Published

Hello other New Hampshire-ites!

I'm currently taking A&P I and hope to take A&P II this summer, followed

by micro in the fall. I hope to apply next Feb. for the Fall '07 entry. I'm worried about the NLN test. I already have a BA in liberal arts, so I've taken

the SAT's (although MANY years ago!). How does the NLN test compare to

the SAT's? What are the best study tools or books? Any advice would

be greatly appreciated!!!

Hey congrats Tamsue! I hope you get into the program that you want!

Congratulations Tamsue on doing so well! I had a similar situation with the science section, I thought I did poorly on that section and it turned out a lot better than I expected. Where have you applied? I have applied to the Manchester, Stratham and Concord campuses and I am still debating about Rivier. It is just so expensive, but I feel like I need to have as many options available as possible.

Well good luck everyone and I hope we all get those acceptance letters here soon!!

I took the NLN in Manchester Feb 24 and just got my scores today. My composite was 147. The classes I have done are: A&P I, Intro to Psych, Human Growth and Devmpt and Math. I'm currently taking A&P II and Fresh comp at NHTI. I hope to get into Manchester or NHTI since I live in Concord.

I got a postcard from Manchester on Saturday that said they will have decisions by mid-April.

can anyone advise me? how do i obtain the results from my nln test taken from 1990 to 1991. i've searched the web but am still unsure?

contact NLN directly and if these are still available they should be able to help you.
