Is anyone applying for Spring 2015 Nursing Program 2015? I applied for Fall 2014 with 37 points and will be applying for Spring 2015 with 38 points. Does anyone have pointers for the application process? Has anyone gone to the limited entry workshop? I have been discouraged, and need some uplifting information.

Hi everyone...just wanted to connect with the Spring 2015 hopefuls...I am a re-applicant for the spring since I had to withdraw this past semester due to not passing the dosage test...my advice to everyone is to practice your dosing math now (especially if you have testing anxiety). Toolbox is great which we can't take until Dec. but I recommend it!

Hi emb0710, thank you for the heads up! Do you have any recommendations on txtbooks related to the dosage calculations?

MissK89...the toolbox teaches Dimensional Analysis so I've been practicing the dosage math that way. Amazon has several books you can get with that method but basically any dosage math book will work. I also printed off practice questions online from different sites...dosagehelp.com is a good website...check out "Dimensional analysis for meds (4th ed.) by A.C Curren.

Might be too early since we months away from knowing if we got accepted or not but the dosage thing got me nervous lol

I am going to the orientation on the 21st of aug. Is anyone going to that orientation? I have all my paper work ready. But after being denied for the 90 day rule I'm so nervous to turn in my packet. I called the limited entry office and they said it doesn't matter when the application is turned in. As long as it's by Sept 1st. Is that what everyone else heard as well?

Also I have a 3 year old and 10 month old. Does anyone have recommendations for studying? I mean I've been able to manage with all my pre reqs but I know this is a whole different ball game.

I didn't even know there was one..do you have more information about the time and place?

I was told one could turn in the application by Sep 1st ...I turned mine in little over a week ago so i can get an appointment wit limited office (as you have to wait at least 1 week from the day you turned it in)..wasn't aware of thr orientation though..n im not quite sure. If the appointment. Will give me definite conformation that my application packet is complete n right...and if its not would I be able to fix it..but I do know that they told me the earliest one could turn in applications was 2 months before Sept 1st which is the deadline. .

The orientation is Aug. 21st at 9:30 am. You can look it up on the nursing page through CSN. I forgot about the review you can do with the limited entry office. And that's a great question! If somehing is wrong can you fix it when meetings with them. I guess it doesn't hurt to ask when you turn in your packet or call to ask.

Just a quick question, I am sure I can call on Monday for it but just thought I'd ask. All we need for our packet is the results for our TEAS correct? And they will look at our transcript through their system... We don't need to pay $27 for a transcript. Correct?

Hello, I will also be applying for the 2015 spring semester. When I attended the worskhop last week; my understanding was that you need your High School transcript and transcript of all other schools previously attended(CSN included). And only need the TEAS transcript only if you took the exam at a different school.

I have the same question mamacruz87. Do we need to get the teas transcript for $27?

I am also applying for spr15 regular track! I have 35 points :o (fingers crossed) I'm dropping my application packet on Monday. I'm so nervous about it, I hope I don't forget anything.... Good luck everyone!!!!

You need to include all college unofficial transcripts including CSN (must have all official transcripts evaluated too), copy of your CSN transfer credit report, your high school diploma or transcript copy, copy of your TEAS results which is given to you after completing the test (TEAS results must be sent to CSN if you did not take it at CSN which is where the $27 comes into play), your application, your checklist, approved sub/waiver form (if you needed one like me for BIOL 190 for 189) , health care experience form (if you have one), copy of your health care license (if you have one) , & attend a mandatory application workshop & health program orientation (if you are an out of towner like me you can schedule the application workshop as a phone appointment and you are not required to attend the orientation per the limited entry office) hope this helps.....I'm pretty sure I got everything lol :)

I looked at the checklist and it said to include an approved high school transcript. Does anyone know how we get it approved? I went in person to go ask them but they're closed until the 24. I don't want to wait until the last minute.
