Hello everyone! I wanted to reach out and see who is going to apply for spring 2015. I am curious to how many points everyone is applying with since this is the first year most people have taken Math 120. I am super excited to submit my application within the next few months. I also, have great advice for anyone who is getting ready to take the TEAS V. Hope to talk to spring 2015 hopefuls soon and good luck.

I passed the teas!!! I'm so happy :)

I will be applying with 35points.

I'm so nervous about turning in my application! I don't want to forget anything!

Congratulations! !!☺

Hey guys I'm also applying for the Spring 2015 semester. I met with the health advisor today and we calculated my points at 38. The only issue is that I attended the workshop on the 29th of May and was late about 5-10 minutes and I was not aware that there was a sign up sheet. It was only last week when I took the TEAS so when I passed it that's when I printed out the application for the program for the first time. It says that in order to apply you have to attend the mandatory workshop which I did I just never signed up. I'm still turning in my application in 2 days I'm just worried they'll give me a hard time about my issue.

Yikes. That's a tough call. I know from experience that they do not let anything through if it isn't "official". Or documented. Let us know what they say! Good Luck!

Yeah I know that's why I'm a bit nervous about it...the girl who's in charge of the limited entry office has been sick and so I haven't had the chance of speaking with her. The only thing that's keeping me hopeful is that the workshop wasn't mandatory before and all it really did was teach you how to apply for the program and nothing more. Hopefully ------------------ will be in tomorrow and I can turn it in with no issue.

I was supposed to reapply for Spring 2015 but just realized a week too late that the limited entry application workshop was MANDATORY! I'm extremely mad and disappointed because: 1) This would have been my third time applying; 2) I got in the first time- had to withdraw; 3) Was an alternate the 2nd time- they had no open spots 4)This was not required the past times I have applied 5) I spoke to a health adviser and he didn't even make it clear that it was mandatory if I wanted to apply! 6) I was going to go anyway but I got the dates for the August 21 workshop confused(I didn't think it would be a big deal....I was wrong..very wrong...and now very sad)

I called the limited entry office and she said I could go to the Sept. 9 workshop and turn in my application late but I know that they don't accept late applications. I want to try calling the nursing department but I know they are a stickler for rules. I'm also debating on just saying I went. Le sigh.

Hey Jiffanytane I was in the same position but fortunately I was able to prove that I went to the May 29th workshop after an INTENSE and SCARY interrogation. I tried to remember as much as I can from the workshop which was very hard for me since it was months ago but to my luck I was able to answer a key question from the workshop that made it possible for her to give me a pass and turn in my application...I literally cried right after right in front of her since I was so happy that she believed me. But in the beginning I was also thinking about just turning in my application prior to speaking with the limited entry office because I figured I was there I just didn't sign up so hopefully it would be fine but turns out they look at the list of attendees to make sure you were actually present. I would definitely still attend the Sept 9 workshop and turn in the application right after because from what I remember they still accept late entries. Good luck!
