CSN Spring 2015
Hey guys, I'm definitely looking into registering for the Toolbox class! A friend of mine who got into the program last semester actually suggested it to me! She didn't take it herself but she was very firm on me taking it and I figured anything will help in order to stay a step ahead! Anyways, I'm very very excited to meet many of you guys on November 14th during Orientation! I actually had booked a cruise for my boyfriend and I eight months prior to receiving my phone call about being accepted into the program and the cruise was from Nov. 9th - Nov. 16th. The lady was very apologetic but she was clear on one thing, if you miss orientation you give away your spot! And I'm like "Oh Hell No, I'm not missing this opportunity!" Long story short I had to frantically call my agency to book a cruise 2 days after the first orientation LOL...nursing school before anything is my new motto from now on! Lol

I'm so sorry I was so excited that's all I could summon up to type at first. But I got in with 38pts for those who are wondering, but I do believe that if you're over 30pts you are safe. I read somewhere that there will be at least 130 students that will be accepted, I'm sure they're still calling other students at this time. Signing is on Nov. 5th.

CSN Spring 2015
I called about 3 days ago and the lady told me applicants find out the last week of October so I'm hoping at least we'll get to know by Thursday since Friday will be a holiday...I'm beyond nervous, goodluck to everyone.

CSN Spring 2015
Hey Jiffanytane I was in the same position but fortunately I was able to prove that I went to the May 29th workshop after an INTENSE and SCARY interrogation. I tried to remember as much as I can from the workshop which was very hard for me since it was months ago but to my luck I was able to answer a key question from the workshop that made it possible for her to give me a pass and turn in my application...I literally cried right after right in front of her since I was so happy that she believed me. But in the beginning I was also thinking about just turning in my application prior to speaking with the limited entry office because I figured I was there I just didn't sign up so hopefully it would be fine but turns out they look at the list of attendees to make sure you were actually present. I would definitely still attend the Sept 9 workshop and turn in the application right after because from what I remember they still accept late entries. Good luck!

Yeah I know that's why I'm a bit nervous about it...the girl who's in charge of the limited entry office has been sick and so I haven't had the chance of speaking with her. The only thing that's keeping me hopeful is that the workshop wasn't mandatory before and all it really did was teach you how to apply for the program and nothing more. Hopefully ------------------ will be in tomorrow and I can turn it in with no issue.

CSN Spring 2015
Hey guys I'm also applying for the Spring 2015 semester. I met with the health advisor today and we calculated my points at 38. The only issue is that I attended the workshop on the 29th of May and was late about 5-10 minutes and I was not aware that there was a sign up sheet. It was only last week when I took the TEAS so when I passed it that's when I printed out the application for the program for the first time. It says that in order to apply you have to attend the mandatory workshop which I did I just never signed up. I'm still turning in my application in 2 days I'm just worried they'll give me a hard time about my issue.
