CSN Spring 2015

Hello everyone! I wanted to reach out and see who is going to apply for spring 2015. I am curious to how many points everyone is applying with since this is the first year most people have taken Math 120. I am super excited to submit my application within the next few months. I also, have great advice for anyone who is getting ready to take the TEAS V. Hope to talk to spring 2015 hopefuls soon and good luck.

will be applying right along with you, also excited for September 1st to come. i have not taken the TEAS yet so any advice will be helpful, but i do have my study guide by ATI. so far i have 37 points assuming i get an A in psychology this semester, this is still not counting the TEAS of course.

September couldn't come soon enough! I am wondering how many people will be applying with Math 120 for the extra 10 points.

Are you reapplying because you were unable to get in last semester?

No this is my first time applying. Last samester I think a little over 130 people applied. What was your score on the TEAS?

My collective score was 70%. Have you taken it yet?

No, I'm waiting for this semester to be over... You applied last semester for the program?

This will be my first time applying. I took the TEAs early enough, so in case I didn't pass my first go around the 3 month "in between period" would leave me with 1 more chance to take it before the deadline. I was very lucky to have passed the first time, more then half of the people who were in my exam class didn't pass. I might retest for a higher score, not sure yet.

Hello! I might apply for spr15, I just need to take math 120, hopefully I will be able to take it over the summer, and pass the TEAS. I took the TEAS exam twice and on both times I didn't pass because I score low in reading (78.9 both times). So I went to register for the TEAS for the 3rd time on Tuesday and I found out CSN will be offering a TEAS prep course over the summer - Its ESL198 and it is going to be available on mycsn in a couple of days. I am going to be taking this class, hopefully I will pass it this time lol

Math 120 is really a breeze. I took it online and it really seemed to work for me. I hope that prep class helps!

Who was your professor?

---------------------. It was a online course for the full semester. There were only 2 exams and a final that had to be taken at the testing center. She will post a study guide a week prior to all the exams. This class was not my first online math class, so I was confident with the self-study.

Hi everyone!

When it comes to the TEAS Just make sure it is at least 90 days between you teas exams students with 37+ points have been declined for the retake of a TEAS within I.e 87 days :/ just thought I put it out there in case you guys didn't follow threads from previous Fall n Spring applications :)
