Nebraska Methodist College---HELP!!!!!!!!

U.S.A. Nebraska

I was wondering if anyone could give me any insight on methodist college's nursing programs. I am interested in the accelerated program but think it might be a bit too overwhelming, has anyone taken it??? It sounds more logical in my case to take that program considering i have almost all of the pre-reqs done but i need time to work and do not want to lose my mind:banghead:....

But on the other hand im thinking of just taking the traditional BSN program and just have a lighter schedule since ive taken alot of the general education classes so i can have time to work while in school. I just hate thinking ill be in school for that much longer!!! Any insight??

All opinions and suggestions are appreciated :loveya:

Hi-My son is in the ACE program at Methodist. It is recommended that you do not work during the 15 month program. If you need to work, you might consider the traditional route. :specs:

Yes I will second that one, I did creighton's accelerated and it was totally worth it though you cannot work at ALL during this time and taking care of children is extremely difficult though doable. However, the programs are very time consuming. I spent 8-12 hours a day in either class or clinicals and then another 1-4 hours a night studying including weekends. Again it's a rough year but totally worth it in the end because it challenges your time management skills, your organizational skills, and your ability to learn things quickly and effectively. I hope this helps.
