Why do some states have quick results and others don't???

Hi all:

I tested on the 24th of January which makes it exactly 12 business days since, and I am still waiting for results. I live in Rhode Island and they do not have quick results; however, they told me I would receive a notice in the mail within 7-10 business days.............This is making me nervous because now I am thinking I may have failed since it may be taking them longer to put together a thick envelope with "you need to retake the NCLEX" information instead of a quick letter saying, "you passed" :)

Somewhere on someone's desk is my results, and it is driving me crazy to have to wait....especially since I was counting on knowing within 7-10 business days not 12+ business days.......oh well........keeping my fingers crossed.......good luck to all those still waiting as well.......
