Use of the whiteboard on the NCLEX

Nursing Students NCLEX

I know is another of those silly questions...

Once you get into the room and you get that whiteboard thing, you can write anything you want on it right?

1, Can you wipe up everything on that board or is a paper base where you have to ask for more paper.

2. Do you have to return every word you write?

Thank you for your input!

That is also my understanding, as I took it last week... that you are free to write whatever you would like AFTER the tutorial is over... They must believe that the few minutes of optional tutorial will really prevent you from remembering stuff, haha.. SOOO if you really want to write stuff down, then I suggest you SKIP the tutorial BECAUSE the exact same tutorial is on the NCBSN website and you can watch that beforehand, and then the time does not count against you (if you watch it from your own computer) but if you watch the tutorial from your computer at the testing facility I am almost positive it does count against you.. (timing)... but again my understanding is that once the test starts you are free to write whatever you would like..

Whiteboards: You may not write on the board until after you have completed the tutorial and started the test. Then you can write what you like. You may not erase your board. If you fill up a board, you can ask for a new one. I have heard of someone being flagged for cheating for asking for too many boards, though.

The TA will not tell you about the white board rules because it is not his job. He is the TA for many different kinds of exams. You are responsible for reading the NCLEX rules before the test.

The tutorial is not optional and it does not count against your time.
