Hi i want to get your thoughts about the NCLEX. :idea: i will be taking mine on Saturday August 13 and im so nervous :uhoh3:

Im not sure if im ready but i really want to get it over with. Ive been studying almost every NCLEX reviewer there is, for nearly a month now.. just the Q&A parts.. studied the Kaplan course book then moved on to Q&A with kaplan strategies, saunders, 3500, 4000, exam cram, and mosby, now i tried the lacharity prioritization.. my scores are really ranging from a lot of high and low nos. the lowest i got is 50% and highest 90% (which is one time btw) mostly averaging my score at 57-65%.. i dont know if i should just reschedule my exam.. i need some encouragement from you guys.. i love the posts i read here and i would be grateful if you shared your pre-nclex jitters experience with me as well...:nurse:

Don't freak out! Your scores look similar to mine, i took NCLEX-RN on tues. and passed with 80 questions.

Remember to relax and do not study the day before, use that time to watch a movie, hang with friends, cuddle a kitten...whatever you need to do to unwind!

wow thanks ohiostudent'RN, that calmed my nerves.. but i had to be honest i kinda peeked into lacharity ds morning til early afternoon..and then at 5pm i decided to stop and watched a movie, i dont plan to look at any notes til my exam tomoro, wish me luck and thanks for your advice. =)

sooo, i just finished my exam awhile ago and after 75 questions and 1hour later (took it 2pm) the computer just shut off, ive been checking d PVT trick and im getting a good pop up is that 100% accurate? or can my good pop up still change?

You passed if you got the good pop up! It doesn't change! Congrats! I passed on Thursday with 75 questions as well! Good luck in your future :)

Statistics have shows that the longer you wait after graduation, the less likely you are to pass the NCLEX. Passing rates are higher for those who test soon after graduation.

hi kim28-- Congratulations :) That's a job well done.

Ashley-- yeah Ive read that somewhere, and that worries me a bit. I graduated in June 2009, so it's been 2 years for me and up to now I've never practiced nursing. I'm a little anxious about it. Even though I took cgfns last year, I dont think that guarantees me anything.

euphoria02 - thanks! i really hope it works! il let you know if i get the official results. btw, don't sweat it i graduated 2008 and never worked as a nurse.. i reviewed nclex for 3weeks and took the test when i got tired of it, if you learned it, its in there, u just need a refresher book (i self studied, budget is low) liike what i used KAPLAN course book and answer a lot of Q&A, i did about 200 a day make sure to read the rationale and relate it to what you have learned and just think about the whole patho why you got it wrong, it will really help you.. but to tell you honestly with the NCLEX, i felt like i knew nothing compared to what i studied its really hard and confusing, i eliminated 2 options and i was practically guessing on my last 2 options..i was just sure with about 5 items more or less..they say 15 questions are experimental..with that said i guessed 55 questions i think hahaha :hpygrp:

Im still kinda anxious. Im really wishing that the PVT is true. How long do i have to wait to see the official results in BON?
