I made a how-to guide on the PVT.

I won't get into the whole debate whether the trick is accurate or not, the intention of the guide is to show :

1. How to do the trick properly. I see people not doing the trick properly and claiming the trick is not accurate. Before even measuring the accuracy of the trick, it has to be done properly.

2. How to avoid paying 200$.

Hope it helps people taking exam in the future.

The guide is for informational purposes only, use this guide at your own risk and any conclusion you derive is at your own peril.

HOW TO GUIDE FOR THE PEARSON VUE TRICK (PVT) --- APRIL 2016

Introduction

On August 2014, the Pearson VUE website was updated. The method the trick

has to be performed has changed. If you try to do the trick the old way and it

doesn't work, it's not because the trick doesn't work it's because that is not the

trick anymore. The times have changed and the trick has changed!

If you google Pearson VUE trick and find any forum posts from before that

date, just IGNORE them! They are not useful anymore, it's a waste of your

time.

Please don't try the old trick and report that omg, the trick doesn't work

anymore! It is bogus!”

Steps

When to do the trick

If the exam stopped for you at 75 questions, you can do the trick before 24

hours or after 24 hours, it doesn't matter.

If the exam gave more than 75 questions, only do the trick after 24 hours. It is

accurate at that time.

Reasoning behind this is that people who only got answered 75 questions are a

clear pass or clear fail. The exam is scored twice: once by the computer and

once by a human. If you are a clear pass or a clear fail, the human (Quality

Control) will not change your result.

The result can be changed only if the computer marked you pass/fail but you

were just above/below the passing line. These people answered more than 75

questions and their pop-ups might be unreliable based on whether the human

re-graded your test or not. These people might see one pop-up before re-

grading and another pop-up after. So, if you answered more than 75, wait for 24

hours and let the re-grading happen before you do the trick.

Before logging in to the website

Don't be stupid and don't ever use an actual credit card no matter what!!

I will just change the expiration date. My card will not be charged.

NO! I have seen people using valid credit cards with changed expiration dates.

Sometimes, these payments still go through. Banks know that you can make

mistakes entering the expiration date and if they don't let the transaction

through, you will just use another credit card and make the transaction. Its lost

money for them, so the greedy banks let it through. Want to risk and see if your

card is from one of those greedy banks?

What if I just use a credit card with a changed number?

All credit card numbers follow a certain number pattern. The system will

recognize that the pattern is invalid and throw an error about invalid card

number. I've tried that, you can't fool it.

What do I do then?

There is always a possibility that Pearson VUE can patch their website any day

and you will be charged. Minimize your risk. This is how you minimize it:

Go to a supermarket or something and buy a visa gift card. I bought a visa gift

card worth 25$. Once you buy the gift card, validate that the gift card was

activated properly by making a small purchase (a box of oatmeal, chewing gum

whatever).

I don't want to listen to you. I want to make a free 200$ donation to

PearsonVUE.

How do I do it?

Use a valid credit card and enter the information exactly as it is. Pearson VUE

management will laugh at you and thank you for the free donation.

I've been told by the admits that Screenshot were removed from my post because it violates teems of service. My post doesn't make a whole lot of sense now, I'll try to write a written how to guide without Screenshot and post it.

Do you know if it matter what you check off for "have you taken this exam before?" "To qualify for the same licence?"... Etc. ?

I checked the correct option always, I never really gave much though to it because I knew with either of the pop-ups, my registration will not be complete.

HI. Do you have a how-to-guide on the pvt? I am not sure if I'm doing it correctly. Thank you very much!
