Hey Guys!

Just want to share my NCLEX RN examination experience. I took the test March 22. My quick result was available after 48 hrs but I did not open it till yesterday. Paid the fee which is almost $8 and found out that I PASSED the exam! It was the most amazing feeling ever! I cried out of happiness, couldn't believe that I did it!

I graduated BSN in the Philippines year 2013. Took my 1st NCLEX RN exam May of 2016 but failed. I'm pretty sure I wasn't ready that time. (Obviously) I took the test again the 2nd time and finally passed! ( 98 questions )

The references that I used for studying was RN MASTERY APP, SAUNDERS COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW FOR NCLEX RN, And UWorld. I focused more on doing Q&As, I did not read the Saunders book page by page but instead I browse it whenever I feel like the explanation from the rationale of a question doesn't make sense.

UWORLD helped me a lot in understanding the concepts. I tried to answer 75 questions everyday or more. Compared to NCLEX RN mastery app, UWORLD gives more detailed explanation on why your answer is correct or incorrect. I suggest using that app! It's really worth it!

I am full time at work. I decided to reduce my hours so instead of 5 days I worked 3 days a week. Did that for about 1 and a half months. A week before my exam I took the whole week off to focus more on my review. I suggest studying in a library so you will not be tempted to watch TV or go to bed and take a nap. Delete your social media if possible! I deleted my facebook app. Because it was indeed one of my biggest distraction! And lastly PRAY! Ask for guidance, and wisdom He will never let you down!

I'm forever grateful! Can't believe this is happening right now. Can't wait to start my journey as an RN! Never give up guys! Hoping for the best for everybody! Good Luck for the test takers! And Congratulations to new passers like me! God Bless!
