Passed nclex-rn & did pv trick 2015

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello nurses and future nurses

I want to share my success story of how I passed my NCLEX-RN

History: I graduated from the Philippines March 2014 and took my local board exam there and passed. I took time off to finish my requirements for my Authorization To Test (ATT). This included my CGFNS-CES Report and TOEFL-iBT. I grew up in California, but I just took the english exam anyway. After recieving my ATT, I enrolled myself in Kaplan with live lectures for $450

I read Saunders in 2014, because the Philippine board exam was full of content & situational questions. And I read the Kaplan content review guide & watched the videos. I still prefer reading because I get distracted while listening to content videos.

And here are my results:

Diagnostic: 56%

QT1 - 63%

QT2 - 69%

QT3 - 62%

Readiness: 58% (Did not finish, ran out of time)

QT4A - 60%

QT4B - 81%

QT5A - 69%

QT5B - 88%

QT6 - 52%

QT7 - 59%

Finished all the QBank with an average of 60%

Qbank sample 1: 68%

Qbank sample 2: 56%

Qbank sample 3: 70%

Qbank sample 4: 20%

NCLEX Test Drive: 68%

SO, I pretty much showed you all of my KAPLAN scores. I used their decision tree which was quite helpful. I did ALL 265 questions. I had 35 SATA, 7 ECG, 4 Exhibits, 1 Calculation, plenty of Pharma, plenty of delegation, plenty of follow up questions, plenty of who do you see first Q's, and infection control questions. (okay, well plenty of everything! haha) Anyways, I took both of my breaks to eat almonds, drink and use the restroom. I did not know if I was answering correctly because it was one of the hardest exams I have ever taken!

My mom drove me to the testing center and picked me up. I couldn't cry infront of her. So I waited until I got home. I fell into tears because it was really difficult and I can't explain it to myself. I finished the exam & survey in 5 hours. I started answering quickly around question #150 because I didn't want to run out of time and I just knew that I was going to stick around until #265.

PV-Trick:

After 1 hour of crying and laying in bed. My friend told me to do the trick. But I told her I would wait 24 hours because that is what everyone is saying here (and I do agree). But I checked anyways. Trembling and in tears, I kept my mom's used gift card with less than $25 and I entered the debit card information and I got a good pop up!! "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time" I felt relieved, but I knew that this was not final until I see my official result or wait for 24 hours.... So I did wait 24 hours and yet still a good pop up!! I was beginning to SMILE. Then my friend called me up saying, that she saw my name on the State Board of Nursing, and I PASSED. Im also happy that I don't have to pay for QUICK-Results since my name is posted on the website. To GOD BE THE GLORY! GOD is always good. No matter what. Pass or Fail. God is always good! So please remember that. Especially re-takers. STAY in faith and faithful to Him and His teachings.

Anywho, the TRICK worked for me. Before 24 hours and at 24 hours. But I still suggest you do the trick after 24 hours or else you'll risk yourself of being charged.

REMEMBER: Give everything in the hands of God. Only He knows what is best. Only He knows what is to come ahead. So that is what I did, I gave everything in the hands of God, knowing that He knows what is best for me.

Congratulations!!! ☺️☺️☺️

congrats!!! is kaplan helpful?

I did it an hour after my NCLEX, 8 hours after, 24 hrs after and it worked each time for me... And within 24 hours the state health department and BON had my name and license number visible! It worked for me =)

Congraaaaaats 👍😇🎉

Congraaaaaats 👍😇🎉

Thank you!

Very nice buddy, welcome to the club.

Just took mine yesterday for the second time, and mine was so similar to yours except that there were about 48 SATA, 8-9 EKG, 7 exhibits, and no math at all. Went all the way to 265 ques 5.5 hrs, and there were so many medications that I couldn't recognized so of course, I tried to guess. The test was really hard, my head was pounding when I left. Tried the PVT trick when I got home and got the good pop up, so finger cross. Last time I took the test I got all 265, tried the trick with a valid card but didnt have enough fund in it, declined my card, and I found out 48 hrs later i fail. So hopefully the trick is right. I dont want to keep my hope up high yet, will check my BON tomorrow to make sure. don't want to pay the 7.95$ for quick result because honestly I dont want to give even a penny to PV anymore. Good luck to everyone who still awaiting to take the exam!!!

Yeah i you dont have to pay for $7.95 when the bon will post it up! Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that you will pass! @babyvoxx
