NCLEX HELP

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello All,

I am new to this forum and have read a lot of stories on here and would like to share mines. I graduated from nursing school in 2011 and I knew I was going to be an RN on my first attempt at the NCLEX. Those plans changed very quickly, as now it is the end of 2013 and I just took my NCLEX exam on the 12th for the 8th time. No words or feelings can describe how I am feeling at this point. Once I failed it for the 7th time in September I decided to get a tutor. I met with her twice a week and she was affordable. I lost my job in the middle of October so I had to stop the tutoring sessions. Since October 9th until December 10th I have been studying non-stop. I literally ate, sleep, and dreamed NCLEX material. I did the Saunders book for the 2nd time, I made over 300 flashcards, and made boards that hung all over the walls of my office. I was making 73-80 on all of my quizzes, exams, and questions. I felt really good I was not nervous or had any anxiety as I was preparing. All I have ever wanted was to be a RN and care & help others. My goal is to be a DNP and Clinical Educator. I have spent well over $2000 in study materials & reviews, tutoring, and the exam itself. I have did the NCBON, Kaplan Reviews and numerous of books. I was a B student in nursing school. I do not know what else to do. I feel like a failure and an idiot. I even prayed so hard every time I have taken this test and continue to get the same results. I seen that a lot of people use the forum as a encourage place. If anyone could give me any feedback or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.
