NCLEX and Pearson Vue Trick

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hey! I took my NCLEX-RN this afternoon at 2pm.. I took 115 questions and when it cut off I was terrified and devastated. I heard about the "trick" on Pearson Vue and decided to try i when I got home..

Tried to re-register and I got an error pop-up saying something along the lines of "this person has already scheduled an exam, contact your board of nursing for assistance, another exam cannot be scheduled at this time."

I have read that that means "pass", but I am still skeptical??

:uhoh21:

I had 245 questions and then it shut down.... and I'm able to re register not good I guess...

what if the computer is wrong...... and I'm still ok ??????

:( I tested on 7-7 got 265 questions, was sent to the cc page..ended up not passing. Took nclex yesterday with 265 questions AGAIN..tried to reregister and GOT the pop up this time. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but from my own personal experience I'd say that its unfortunately accurate: cc pg=fail and pop up box "Our records indicate"=pass. I won't be able to check my results until tommorow, but ANYTHING other then the cc page gives me hope until I can see the words PASS. Good luck!

Tks for the reply.... yes but today I got "results not yet available" and it does not let me go

further pushing the next bottom.... though I'm in Canada... so the system might be different.

Hmmm..I'm not sure then! After you log into your account, you should have some little tabs on the upper left that say "current activity, register, etc". If you click on the "register" tab and go threw all the steps and get down to where you put the board of nursing in that drop down box..once you hit next that is what determines if u passed it or not. If it sends you threw to enter your cc info it's bad news but if u get that pop up box instead you are golden!

You are correct but it does say "results not yet available" and this time it does let me go

up to the cc.....hum....... i still have hope.

I took my exam Friday morning.. I went in with a 100.4 temp from a kidney infection.. I did not feel good and did not feel good about my performance. I was nervous when i got to question 75 and it kept going.. I did not take the optional break it offered me later, I just was ready to get done and go home and get in bed. I noticed around question 145 that I had over a hundred questions to make it through the whole test.. A few minutes later, It just cut off.. I dont even remeber on what number.. likely between 150 and 165.. A friend who told me about the Pearson trick later that day.. I got the message not allowing me to re register for the test. Everyone keeps saying if I get the message. "our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time." I was told this means I passed.. I have to admit I would be surprised because the whole experience was a sickly blur.. I will know in the morning around 8 AM by checking the bama board of nursing site to seek if it null and voided my temp license... If it shows I passed the test tomorrow, Ill post that this trick worked.. If you do not see a repost, Its likely because Im studying for boards again... If I happen to pass, then it will be due to Gods grace and a lot of prayers for me by friends and family..

I have heard some say within 15 minutes from taking your test, however that is only what I read on one of the postings.. I also read that you have to noted the posted "delivery successful" needs to be up. I got this message..."our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time." I have been told this will pop up if you try to register for the test like you do the first time.. I was also told its a bad sign when it allows you to go to the credit card payment option... I will have my results by tomorrow.. If it is true.. I will have gotten a "pass" on mine.. If not, then Ill likely get back here and post its a bogus confirmation of this trick.

So here I am, stomach turning and feeling like I want to cry. Took nclex yesterday at 1030' and it shut off at 150+. (stopped looking after 125) I tried the pvt and got the "cannot re register" pop up, but still scared. It has been a long journey to get here, and don't think I can emotionally take the nclex again! Any words of advice, or inspiration?

yes, I have fail sorry to say..... and it was my first time..... you have pass as you can not

re register.... I could re register so hang there you are the greatest nurse can be you make

it take a big breath........ I'm curling down in shame...... fail is not ok for me.......... but will do it again

Thanks for the positive words. Don't be ashamed. I failed out of nursing school in2008. I went back in2010, did LVN. Then did my LVN to RN in 2011. So, it has taken me 6 years to finish RN school. So hang in there! And pat yourself on the back for making it this far!

Bethlearning: You have to look at the fact that you finished a program I think out of 100 in my class 33 made it to graduation. It is quite a journey just to be able to have gotten as far as you have.. We all have a bad day from time to time.. In our program if you failed you were out of the whole program. Not passing the NCLEX the first time is nothing to be ashamed of.. I am sure there are many questions in those banks of question and perhaps you just got a bad luck of the draw. Please do not let this get you down, use it to make your stronger and stay on focus.. Nurses are in high demand, Im sure there are many people around you who would be very sad if you just gave up.. Do you realize how many failures many successful people faced before reaching success ? The number is high... Just because we lose one battle, it does not mean we lose a war. You know what to expect next time.. I do not know you, but I can tell you are a proud person with a lot of heart.. That in itself are great qualities for a good nurse.. Prayers to your success

Very encouraging comment. I agree, it's not easy making it through nursing school. I know that nursing is a calling, and that God wouldn't have brought us this far to leave us behind.

I took the nclex rn exam Tuesday feb 12 and got 185 questions. I went to Pearson vue to try to re-register and got a message saying that our records indicate that you have recently taking this exam, please contact your member of board nursing for assistance. Hopefully I PASSED. People I know who got the message passed, also people I know who were able to pay FAILED. I'll see in 2-3 days
