Jumping back into studying after years of stagnation

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I am so desperate for help and need to pass this exam. I graduated in 2012 after doing well in nursing school. I took a Kaplan review course soon after graduation and according to the test at the end of the course I had over a 90% chance of passing. I failed.

For the next two years, I tried on and off with no success. I hired a private tutor, did thousands of questions, a Hurst review and nothing worked. Each time I started over I had a different study buddy. I consistently did as well or better on the practice questions, but each time, my study buddy passed and I didn't.

I gave up trying two years ago but have always yearned to be a nurse as I know it is my calling.

I've struggled with testing anxiety, but since it's been two years since I've studied, my content isn't great.

I recently got several prep books and am excited and nervous to try again but want to get any advice I can.

Thank you!
