Nursing Students NCLEX

Hello I'm new at this site but I have a question....how bad is the nclex pn? Im schedule to take mine April 29th. I'm scared to death. I have been studying sanders 4th edition the green book and sanders q&a the pinkish book plus been looking over 1000 questions exam cram book. I do pretty good with the sanders books but with the exam cram questions I am only getting 60%. I really feel as if I'll fail. Any ideas or sugestions that could help me?

Hey im waiting on my codes for the pn test. Don't be stressed. Do you have the red nclex book by any chance ? I don't think the material has changed much but I know they gave us that in my pn program. The exam cram book is really helpful a friend of mine told me 20 of her questions came out of that book. Also Kaplan is pretty good with there q bank questions but sometimes I feel they are incorrect with some of there answers but that's just me lol. What state are you taking it in?. Basically I've been using nclex book for content if I need to brush up KaplanExam Cram and the Hurst review and if you were ever to get the red NCLEX Book you can register it online and they have practice questions also. It's all about questions at this point. You'll do great

Hello I do have the sanders 4th edition the green one and the sanders reddish q&a book and the exam cram book 1000. But on the exam cram book I'm getting mostly 60% . And I do get 70%-80% when I go back Thur it again. I'm just worried that my questions r going tobe different or iI won't be able to answer them. I'm just really nervous. I really want to pass. II've been doing 200-300 questions a day and at least a chapter in the sanders book.

I'm in the state of Michigan. And thanks for the support :)

Hey there,

I took the NCLEX RN March 11, 2014 and failed with 265 questions. I retest April 30 and I have found that the book made by the Pearson company (THE GUYS WHO WRITE THE TEST) titled "comprehensive review for NCLEX-RN Pearson Reviews & Rationales" has been very specific and helpful. My friend who failed at 230 read it from cover to cover and did all the tests and passed her second try with 75 question. IT CAN BE DONE! I took Kaplan and did at least 50% of the Qbank and all the trainers the first time around and found their content to be just okay, not super helpful. My friend did 100% of the Kaplan resources and still failed first try, but swears by that Pearson book as the reason she passed round 2! The NCLEX recently was updated and I've been told that currently Kaplan is directed toward passing the "old" test from a year ago... I'll be panicking with you at the end of the month when I retest in Troy, good luck, and just think of it as one more obstacle to overcome (like nursing school was...). :)

Hey there,

I know you are taking the PN exam but the company has a book for that as well! I imagine the same rules apply! My friend who failed at 230 read it from cover to cover and did all the tests and passed her second try with 75 questions. IT CAN BE DONE!
