Graduated 2010 and failed 4 NCLEX-RN Exams. What's next?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hi there all, I need some advise. I graduated with a BSN from the Philippines at the year 2010. I was born in Guam. So I didn't take the licensure exam in the Philippines but I took the California NCLEX-RN licensure exam 4x unfortunately I have failed all of them. So now I heard from people that California nursing board has become more strict to foreign nurse graduates. So I decided to try Guam NCLEX instead. All I know is that they need my transcripts evaluated by CGFNS. My question is should I review during the process of the application or should I wait to see if I'm allowed to take the exam or not? Which is the best refresher course and review center? TIA

It's never too early to start refreshing yourself on NCLEX topics, so I would say you should start now. As for the best refresher course, I never took one, but I heard Kaplan offers a really good NCLEX review. The way I studied for the NCLEX was using a phone app and I also used this website to take free practice tests on subjects I didn't know as well NCLEX-RN Exam - Online Practice Questions & Review . Good luck!
