Choosing a study guide

Nursing Students NCLEX

So I've been using the ATI since starting school and I really hate it. Recently I've been asking nurses at my clinical sites what they would recommend using and a few of them said that I should try that the Kaplan online study questions but couldn't give me a specific name. They said that it was about $200.00 and that it can be put on two computers so I could share with another student. Does anyone have any idea what they are referring to?

Why do you not like ATI? Is it too hard for you? I also hated ATI while I was in Nursing school because I thought it was very challenging. I only started to appreciate it after Nursing school, in which my school registered us for Virtual-ATI, where we had our own Coach 1:1. I ending up loving ATI because I felt it was all the topics from Nursings school, condensed into a simpler form of studying. If you don't like ATI, you won't NCLEX either, which was 10x harder than ATI questions. I also used Kaplan book and Saunders book, as well as NCSBN (provided by my school), and the NCLEX Mastery app on my iPhone. I passed with 85 questions, just 2 months after graduation. I suggest you use all of the resources you can, so you get as much practice questions as you can. Good luck to you!

No, I don't find it too hard. As a reference manual, the books are good. However, as a study guide it needs a lot of work and I can't keep lugging all of those books with me wherever I go.
