Best/Most reliable resource for Lab Values on NCLEX RN??

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hi everyone,

I know there is a lab value sheet floating around AN. In fact, I am pretty sure I have it downloaded already.

Still, I am curious if anyone out there knows of the most accurate data base or source for actual "normal" values/limits that will show up on the NCLEX RN for 2013-2016.

I know lab values across resources are all relatively similar or close in range. However, I'll admit I am a bit dyslexic with numbers. Combined with my testing anxiety I simply want a strong/reliable set of values that will keep me "safe" when taking the NCLEX.

In school I always referenced my Lewis Med-surg book... however, I have noticed on more than one occasion, that Kaplans ranges are a bit different. Between 3 resources (Lewis, Saunders, and Kaplan) the numbers all vary to some extent.

If anyone could share a link or post lab values that held true for you while taking the NCLEX-RN, I would truly appreciate it. Also, if you have any tip/tricks or mnemonics for keeping numbers straight please share.

For example (values from Lewis)

NORMAL ELECTROLYTE VALUES

Na+ 135-145

K+ 3.5-5.0

NORMAL ABGs

pH 7.35-7.45

pCO2 35-45

I use the NCSBN course, on there they have all the labs and they are the makers of the Nclex
