2nd attempt at NCLEX

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

hey guys,

I'm writing here again to gain some good advice on what to study for the second attempt at taking the NCLEX. I figured my weakness is content. I studied Kaplan before I took my first exam and did well with the strategies. I also used Saunder's book to learn off of for content. Anyone known of any good book (just one) that I can use that is easy to read and understand for content?

Also, I live in CA do I really have to wait 45 days for me to retake the exam or can I sign up for it as soon as I get my ATT?

I have always heard the Saunders book was good for content as well as Kaplan. Have you considered Hurst?

No im not sure what to use. I was thinkin of signing up wit ncsbn courses. I know a nurse practitioner that works at ucla...she's going to tutor me. She is also a Kaplan instructor. Don't know if I shoukd still sign for content courses. I hated kaplans content. ..it was boring and not easy to understand for me.
