hello to all!

i am a pre-nursing major and finishing up the last of the pre-req's for both a bsn program or an associates. my family and i live in a small rural community called nevada missouri. i did not apply into the nursing program for this fall at my local community college because i wanted to be done with all pre-reqs before entering into either program ( bsn/ associates). i am going to apply to a nursing program this fall for the winter session but i am so nervous because i have to take the teas test. :o

so if i can get some advice on taking the teas test that will be great. this fall i have a full load. i am taking 17 credits

chemistry, english 102, artforms, personal finance and nutrition. ;) the last 4 classes are online. it is going to be a challange because i have 3 children and a husband and i have been out of school since 1992. so i would like to meet some people on here so i can have more of a support system of future nurses to stick together and work together! :balloons: look forward to hearing from you all!

Hello Hello! Welcome to the site! It is a wealth of knowledge and support:) I'm sorry I can offer you no info on the teas test! Stay encouraged and do your best! Good luck to you:)

You can buy a study guide to help prepare and just be informed to what type of questions will be on the TEAS. Its not a bad test at all. If you go the ATI web site you can order the study guide. I'm not sure of the exact name and web site, but I am sure you can google ATI and TEAS test to find it. Good luck.

If you haven't already done so, either do a "Search" for TEAS or go post on one of the Student Boards to see if you can get more info.

Sorry, I didn't have to take any entrance tests, so have no personal knowledge.

I can offer that I was out of school for more than 20 years when I went after my first degree in Business and did fine. Maturity and motivation go a long way toward being successful in school!! Best wishes!!
